The cost of an enterprise AI workshop depends on the work required before, during and after delivery. Audience needs, customization, facilitation, tool access and follow-up can change the scope substantially. Request a written proposal against a common brief; this guide does not publish an AISFY price list.

Separate session time from preparation

A workshop may require discovery, participant readiness checks, exercise design, source-material preparation and access testing before delivery begins. Two sessions of the same length can therefore involve very different amounts of work. Ask which preparation activities are included and what your team must supply.

Preparation should have a purpose. A generic questionnaire that does not affect the agenda adds little. A short review that identifies an inaccessible tool or an unsafe example can prevent a failed session. Compare the outputs of preparation, not just the number of meetings.

Understand the main scope drivers

Scope driverWhy it changes the workQuestion to ask
Audience and readinessDifferent roles need different examples and supportIs this one coherent cohort or several learning needs?
CustomizationRealistic tasks require design and reviewWhat material must our organization provide?
FacilitationHands-on feedback may need additional supportHow will participants receive useful feedback?
Tools and accessLicences and configuration may be separateWhich costs and prerequisites are excluded?
Delivery arrangementsLocation, accessibility and logistics can affect scopeWhat arrangements are included in the proposal?
Follow-upCoaching and evidence review take additional timeWhat happens after the session, and who owns it?

Compare like-for-like proposals

Give each provider the same audience, problem and intended outputs. Ask for inclusions, exclusions, assumptions and applicable commercial terms. Check whether taxes, travel, licences or additional facilitation are included where relevant rather than assuming that a headline fee is the total cost.

If one proposal includes a follow-up review and another does not, compare the core workshop separately from the optional support. This makes the trade-off visible without treating the larger package as automatically better.

Account for internal effort

The organization contributes participant time, coordination, materials and management support. These costs matter even if they are not on the provider’s invoice. A workshop scheduled for many people who cannot use the learning may cost more internally than a smaller, well-chosen cohort.

Estimate internal effort explicitly and label estimates as such. If a process owner must sanitize documents or an administrator must configure access, assign that work before booking. Otherwise preparation can become an unexpected burden or an unsafe last-minute shortcut.

Avoid false economies and unnecessary extras

A cheaper workshop can be a good choice when it meets the objective with clear materials and competent facilitation. It becomes a false economy when participants cannot practise, examples are irrelevant or important prerequisites are missing. Equally, advanced demonstrations and extensive tool lists may add cost without addressing the business problem.

Ask which elements are essential for the objective and which are optional. For a team learning to review AI-generated drafts, more feedback on a few tasks may be more valuable than a broad tour of products.

Do not justify the purchase with invented savings

A supplier may illustrate a potential efficiency improvement, but an illustration is not your business case. Check whether a savings estimate includes verification, rework, licences and implementation effort. Also ask whether time released can actually be used for another valuable activity.

If evidence is limited, frame the workshop as a bounded capability investment with clear learning and decision objectives. Agree what evidence would justify further spending. Do not turn attendance, satisfaction or a short exercise into a financial return claim.

Prepare an enquiry that can be scoped

Provide the function, approximate participant group, current tools, business challenge, preferred delivery format and intended outputs. Add any known constraints on data, accessibility or procurement. A useful proposal should identify the facilitator, responsibilities, scope and terms before you commit.

AISFY’s enterprise workshop page explains the different workshop focuses. Use the buyer’s checklist alongside the proposal so your decision considers fit and evidence as well as cost. Final pricing and delivery arrangements require an agreed scope.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a standard price per participant?

Pricing structures vary by scope and provider. This page does not state an AISFY rate. Request a proposal that makes the fee basis and inclusions explicit.

Is a longer workshop always better value?

No. Value depends on the objective, suitable practice and useful feedback. A longer agenda can add fatigue without improving capability if the content is poorly matched.
